Yesterday I shared some reflections on a list of beautiful “looking back” questions for 2022. I noted that it was a sense of “bowing” to 2022. In addition, I wanted to share the photos that stood out to me as I looked back on my year in photography. These are all ones that connected with me as I looked back month-by-month.
Thank you so much for such a meaningful reflection on your year in photography. You have motivated me to begin my photography practice again. It has been too long. Could I also ask a question- what app do you use to store your photos throughout the year? Thanks
Thank you so much Jan. I am grateful for the way that this spoke to you.
Re storing/organization - I use an Adobe subscription program called Lightroom. It is both a robust photo organization program and also has a lot of photoshop-type tools built in. It is definitely more than what the casual photographer might use, however. I am not familiar with Windows programs beyond that but on the Mac, the built in Photos app is also very good for organizing.
The biggest thing for me with organizing photos is using keywords or tags and keeping up with photos as I add them in. It can be overwhelming if it is something done only once in a while. Happy to share more if you'd like - best might be to reach out to me by phone or email.
