Yeah - I did that with the spellings. Like I shared earlier in the week, while I am posting pretty much every day with the Psalms, I am not going to email them out every day (I don’t want to assume you want me in your inbox every day) but I am going to post a Psummary (again, see what I did there?) each Psaturday and I’ll probably widely share several in between along the way. Anyway, this is the week that I started this new journey through the Psalms guided by Norman Fischer’s book, Opening To You: A Zen Translation of the Psalms. I started this on Tuesday with Psalm 1 and then shared Psalm 5 this morning. So here are each of the days if you want to click through. Psalm 6 will be posted tomorrow morning.
Psalm 4 - Dognertia
Psalm 5 - Contrasts (and unsayableness)
So far, I am finding these new ways of hearing the Psalms to be beautifully life giving. A theme I have felt thus far is a beautiful openness and challenging to different ways of viewing others and viewing experiences.
Off to reflect on Psalm 6 to share tomorrow. :-)
Grace, Peace, Love, and Joy,
Ed
