A few mornings ago, I was returning from my morning walk with Scout and it was one of those “right place, right time” moments. One of the trees in my neighbor’s yard was raining down its small yellow leaves. There wasn’t much of a breeze that morning but it just felt like the tree decided, “this is the time.” And literally by the afternoon, all the leaves had fallen. But when I came across it in the morning, the branches still looked full of leaves but they were raining down in this beautiful cascade of gently falling leaves. I set my camera up on a tripod and just recorded about seven minutes of the leaves falling down. My neighbor was out doing the same.
