I don’t know why but I love the parts of the Gospels where John the baptizer sends people to Jesus to ask “are you the one we were looking for or should we look for another?” That happens at the beginning of Matthew 11 to which Jesus responds with a message recounting how the blind are seeing, the lame are walking, and the poor have the good news brought to them.
