Hope - A heron on the bench and in the water, two flowers, a out-of-season leaf, a water drop, and a perfect moment with the sun

Yeah, I know that's a long title...

In the spirit of the last two posts I have shared (writing things down and seeing the (nearly) invisible), about noticing the sometimes-missed and writing things down, I today simply wanted to share some images from Thursday and Friday. These are just a few moments that stirred beauty and hope for me. Nothing much more than that today. Here you go:

Loved the colors in the water on this and the next. The heron was just slowly walking through the water looking for breakfast

Same heron about 45 minutes later had found a new perch

A wonderfully unique flower

This leaf seemed like it was really out-of-season

Love water droplets in the morning light

This glint of morning sunlight reminded me of Gandalf at the end of The Two Towers..."Look for my coming at first light on the fifth day. At dawn, look to the east."

Our magnolia has more blooms this season than any other that I remember since we lived here. White blooms everywhere!
