I think…sometimes the Muse is opening doors for perspective rather than speaking…love the doors you opened!

Del Toro's vision of this new Frankenstein film was like a piece of jewelry that mixed the rustic and earthy with the fineness and sparkle of precious stones. I was enchanted by the monster's hands that were purposeful, gentle, and almost feminine. The forgiveness shared between the creator and his extended being was simple. It was as if they reversed roles. The monster was putting his creator to bed with a kiss reserved for a child. Oscar Isaac put himself into the Shadow self of Victor Frankenstein. His acting choices were void of empathy. He looked 20 years older in this film and I don't think it was makeup. Great acting can do that with great commitment. Jacob Elordi is a new actor to me and he was captivating. He gave The Creature an experience of being born twice - once artificially and the second spiritually. I loved this film and will watch it again when I'll see a whole bunch of new stuff.
