The Second Gaze - Wisdom
My second gaze came this morning on my way to a writing retreat that I took today. I left the house at about 6a and my awesome wife sent me photos of our page a day calendars. There were the awesome dog ones (Thoughts of Dog and We Rate Dogs) and then the daily quote from Mr Rogers. Today’s (which I read after I arrived at my destination) was

Mr Rogers
What beautiful wisdom shared with me by my wife, one of the deepest wells of wisdom in my life. What really spoke to me was the very last part of that sentence...their limitless capacity to fall in love with life.
That’s something that my dear wife has taught me and shown me from the day I met her through to today and what I hope we are helping our children learn and live.
Jesus said, “I have come that they (you, me, us, all) may have life, and have it abundantly.”
John 10:10b
