“The Handing Over Time” is how Carrie Newcomer describes the shift of seasons that we are in right now in her song of the same title. She sings of the different shadows, character of light, birds changing and migrating, and even the dust that seems to be in the air during this time. Ultimately the song is about entering into this change knowing that renewal and restoration will come again.
Handing over time has become old hat at my age. I would have liked to have seen a glorious autumn in N. Ky. but, alas and alack, the leaves are generally pretty brown or falling off trees still green. I hope 2025 has some climate normalcy. The only thing that isn't old hat is climate change and what that brings us every year. Nothing romantic about that.
Stunning pictures and reflections as always! And congrats on the book!!!
Thank you! Well, the book isn't yet finished...hoping! But the muse is speaking lots!
Either way, it's amazing! 😁
Blessings as you embark on your new adventure. May you find freshness and joy! 🙏
