Songs of Ascent - Psalm 129 - Where Do We Put Our Energies

There's a common thread in many of the Psalms where there is vengeance called down upon enemies, for victory over "the other" and so forth. I wonder about those same kind of energies being put into people calling for God to change hearts rather than to destroy.
