Psalms 103 & 104 - Bless the Lord

I so adore the opening of both of these Psalms...

Bless the Lord, O my soul.

Psalm 103:1 & 104:1

We all know there’s a lot of challenges in the world right now.  There’s a lot of pain.  There’s a lot of anger.  There’s a lot of suffering.  There’s a lot that can feel like it is hard to bless the Lord.  But I believe that one of the things I am called to in my life personally and also in my calling to the world is to continue to find the blessings of God that are still present no matter what is happening. 

For me, that came in my walk yesterday morning and seeing the color and vibrancy of blooms all around.  From the magnolia blooms on our backyard tree (which has had far more blooms this year than any other since we moved in) to ones in our garden to ones at the park where Scout and I went.  All of them...blessings to me and I hope to you as well.  Blessings of the creativity of our Creator, Redeemer, and Sustainer.
