Psalm Photos - 67 - Praise
Psalm 67
May God be gracious to us and bless us and make his face to shine upon us, Selah
that your way may be known upon earth, your saving power among all nations.
Let the peoples praise you, O God; let all the peoples praise you.
Let the nations be glad and sing for joy, for you judge the peoples with equity and guide the nations upon earth. Selah
Let the peoples praise you, O God; let all the peoples praise you.
The earth has yielded its increase; God, our God, has blessed us.
May God continue to bless us; let all the ends of the earth revere him.

I was richly blessed to spend the weekend with my covenant group this weekend in Seattle. We have gathered every year since we graduated from seminary 15 years ago. We worshipped this morning at Sammamish Presbyterian Church and this is the cover of their bulletin from this morning. The repeated lines in this Psalm of "let the peoples praise you, O God" was what stood out to me throughout today. I loved what was written on the bulletin cover today because it captures what I feel about what it means to be the church and the countless reasons to be grateful. Tonight as I begin the flight home, I give thanks for my brothers, for the presence of Christ throughout this weekend, and for the Lord's abiding presence. Thank you for the ability as the last line of this bulletin says, to believe. Thank you. Thank you.
