Prayers for our mission trips

The last 24 hours here have been very special.  Early afternoon yesterday, a group of about forty people cirlced in front of PCW to pray for God's blessing upon the mission experience most were heading out on (some of the forty were parents and friends) and then a group of about 15 gathered this morning to pray for those tweens in their mission experience.  (and also prayed that the rain might pass them by).

We have a special opportunity available to us this summer at PCW, especially these next few weeks.  As over sixty young people and adults head out on mission experiences, there will be more times to gather in the coming weeks to pray as a community for the work they are a part of.  Next Wednesday (6/17), we'll gather at 7p here at PCW to pray for our high school mission trip and then 10p the following Wednesday for our middle school trip.
