PhotoPsalm 16 - Five Minutes
It was just five minutes
A stained glass painted on a white wall.
It was just five minutes
A flash of pink and purple in the morning sky.
Both were right place right time
It was just five minutes
A vibrant sunset in the Western sky as I drove home.
It exists now only in memory.
Right place yes but wrong time.
It was just five minutes
An exchange that began with a silly sweater
and moved to health and hope
and lament.
There is so much in just five minutes
Five minutes can reveal new beauty of color
Five minutes can be 300 seconds of stillness
Five minutes can paint the sky with vibrance
Five minutes can be a time of connection
Five minutes can be an infinity in the finite
