A crazy variety of yellow photos this week - this flower, a butterfly shaped flower, stickers on a wall, goslings (not Ryan), Star Wars, and playoff hockey!
My favorite color has always been yellow! It started as a kid because I felt bad that no one ever chose it for their favorite color (signs of an Enneamgram 2🤦🏼♀️). And since then I've grown to love how uplifting this color can be. I don't have the complexion to wear it, but plenty of yellow things make me happy! As for flowers/weeds one of my favorite is goldenrod because it appears right as the bees are going into a pollen dearth and gives them new opportunity for life. I also love forsythia! A song list must include Donovan's "Mellow Yellow" which I remember my dad singing when he helped me paint my room yellow as a teenager!

I always liked seeing yellow paired with blue or purple, as with pansies. Both colors enhance each other.
