Miscellaneous Stuff - Ice, Thanks, and the Super Bowl
Its been a little bit since I made a post, but I have been rather busy scraping ice and snow off my driveway. Here's some pictures of the end results of the crazy ice/snow storm that came through the area...
So, it took several days to dig out, but we finally got there. Of course, there is a good chance of more snow coming up on Monday...ack
I also wanted to say a few words of thanks to the response of the congregation to the Town Hall meeting last Sunday. It has been encouraging to read the great ideas that have been suggested for how to respond as a congregation to the current financial situation that is affecting us all - individually and corporately. There have been some wonderful ideas and it has been truly a great example of the way that the Body of Christ functions corporately to make things happen. I am honored to be a part of this community of faith and humbled by the incredible offers and ideas that have been shared. I look forward to what God will continue to do in and through us in the time ahead.
Finally, I am not sure whether this will be a good thing to say now that I have moved to AFC North country, but I am having to go with the Steelers on Sunday. They've always been my #2 favorite team after the Broncos...Steelers 23-14.
