Matthew 6 - Paying Attention

Went for a walk yesterday morning and noticed that someone had painted with blue all the wood steps and many of the roots in the path I was walking. I am assuming it was because either someone tripped and fell or just to prevent that from happening. Anyway, the second chapter of the Sermon on the Mount in Matthew feels very much like it is pointing to paying attention to our focus on following the way of Jesus...if we keep our focus and our attention on that way, it is a lot harder to trip and fall...
