Matthew 5 - Layers

How to try to sum up the sermon on the mount in just one image? There is so much in just this one chapter. But this morning I was praying about what it would look like if we all started to live more in these ways. How the layers of each action and way of life would build on one another and eventually how “all the colors would bleed into one” as U2 shares in “I Still Haven’t Found What I’m Looking For.” This morning that thought came to me as I saw the layers of the sunrise this morning - how the sunrise brought the insight and not an insight being found around me.
