Mark Photos - 14:10-11 - Price
Judas Agrees to Betray Jesus Then Judas Iscariot, who was one of the twelve, went to the chief priests in order to betray him to them. When they heard it, they were greatly pleased, and promised to give him money. So he began to look for an opportunity to betray him.

Priceline got its legs online by giving people the opportunity to name their price for a hotel, airfare, rental car, etc...what's your price? I wonder if that was asked of Judas? Judas, what would it take for you to give up Jesus? Turns out the price was 30 pieces of silver...now how much that really is worth is open to debate - I looked online and saw interpretations ranging from the equivalent of a few hundred dollars to several thousand dollars. Regardless, there was a price that Judas was willing to take to betray Jesus.
Its really easy for us to vilify Judas today...after all we would never betray Jesus like Judas did, would we? Not so fast...Most of us have never been in a situation where we have been faced with such a decision...or have we? Maybe it isn't under threat of force or being given an amount of money, but do we betray Jesus with our silence on those things that were central to Jesus' teaching? After all, didn't Jesus say that what we do to the "least of those" we do unto Jesus? So, when we are silent, when we do not act, when we choose to look the other way...are we taking the 30 pieces of silver? What's my price? What's your price?
