Luke 8 - Sowing

Jesus tells a parable in Luke 8 about a sower sowing some seeds and about the soil that each seed is sown into. There is seed into good soil that grows well, seed that is sown into not great soil but does not establish a root, and seed that was sown among thorns and is choked out. But as I saw this green grass poking out of the new snow, I wonder about the seed that grew strong in spite of the challenges it faced - rocky ground or among weeds. I continue to be humbled by those who are able to grow in their faith even when things are difficult, painful, or seem like there’s no way growth can come. Those who can grow roots in times like that...wow...
