Lent Photos - Day 10 - Spirit

I was richly blessed to be at our men's retreat this weekend. As we do each year, we come to the “farm” of a family in our congregation and it is a stunningly beautiful place. I find rich beauty in the nature here, the places built here, and in the men that come each year. The beauty though is in the spirit of this place and in the spirit of the men.

Whenever I come here, whether for the retract or on my own, my spirit is renewed by this place. It is a place that speaks creation, generosity, hopefulness, and community.

Bless the Lord, o my soul and all that is within me, bless God's holy name.
