That's the only quiet, secure place in a noisy world, The perfect getaway, far from the buzz of traffic. God holds me head and shoulders above all who try to pull me down. - Psalm 27:5-6a Other translations speak of God hiding us in the cover of his tent. It's a place of safety and security. But it cannot be a place that is a place to hide but instead to come and be assured we are not alone and be renewed for our life and ministry. I think of how a person holds a small baby bird. It's held gently between the hands - assuring it of security until such a time it can be released to fly and to soar.
