About a year ago, one of the folks at the church I serve asked about finding a way to share a series of paintings that he did depicting the cross of Jesus. We finally got a chance to get them all up for Lent in our church parlor. They speak to me of serving because he didn’t share these so that people would buy them but instead to provoke people and push people to think about the cross of Jesus in new ways. His heart to share these is truly an act of service.
