Just Some Country Roads, West Virginia Photos
A few quick notes before heading to Country Roads and West Virginia…
I am grateful for the first few “bestowals” that I have sent out to folks. For those who requested them, I hope they speak deeply to those who will receive them. For those who aren’t sure what I’m talking about, you can click here for my new practice inspired by the book Theo of Golden.
MaryAnn and I have our next Pop Culture Pastors Hour coming up next Wednesday at 1pm ET. We are going to be focusing on Epic Tales and Origin Stories. You can participate live here on substack or check it out after at pcph.substack.com or your preferred podcast app.
Looking back, many of my recent posts have been a bit on the “heavier” side. Reflecting on the 250th, Theo of Golden, the Beholding Flag, and so forth. I thought I would just take a step away from the heavier and just share some of the beauty of the weekend we had in West Virginia last weekend. We spent a few days over the 4th weekend at the New River Gorge National Park and I thought I would just share some of the glimpses of beauty of that place.

I’ll share the remainder ones individually - they are all from a hike my wife and I did our last morning there. It is called Endless Wall and there’s a beautiful (and some might say scary) point along it called the Diamond Point Overlook. I’m grateful that Scout is a good sport about these kinds of things!
Grace, Peace, Love, Hope, and Joy,
Ed

Gorgeous! Love the fog and sap 😍
Wow… that’s a pretty decent drive from here, but maybe a place to check out if we get tired of Shenandoah
