Gratitude 22 - Peanuts
Before the kids went to youth group tonight, we did our annual viewing of A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving. I've watched it pretty much every year that I can remember as has My wife and the kids. Yet we always laugh at the same parts - Snoopy and Woodstock fighting in the clothes box, the buttering toast scene, Snoopy fighting the folding chair, Woodstock being rolled over by the basketball, the shuffling of the toast at the table, and the wonderfully unique Thanksgiving meal...and we also comment each year on the rear facing seats in the station wagon at the end. The whole thing is dear to our hearts and I am pretty sure it will be watched each year to come. I am grateful today for the creativity of Charles Schultz, the fun animation of these episodes, the music of Vince Guaraldi, and the every year joy of this show.
