Gratitude 21 - Movies

Our family movie night last night was watching Wall-E - a movie that I truly never get tired of watching. I adore the film and especially the two scenes of Wall-E touching the rings of Saturn and then him and Eva "dancing" outside the Axiom. They are just stunningly beautiful scenes. I am grateful for the escape that movies give to us. Virtually regardless of the genre, I love the way that a film can bring us into a place, into an experience, into something that we could not experience on our own. Whether its two robots "dancing" in space (Wall-E), a galaxy far far away (Star Wars), a story of redemption and hope (Shawshank Redemption), or so many others...I am grateful for the creativity of film makers.
