Gratitude 20 - Frost

I have to admit that I am a bit jealous of my family and friends back west who have had their first taste of winter snow. Our forecast notes that we might get a few snowflakes tomorrow night into Sunday but nothing accumulating. So, I have to be grateful today for the glimpses of winter that we are seeing. Most of the leaves have fallen and there was a strong chill in the air this morning as I headed to the gym. As I walked out, I saw the morning sun shining brightly on the frosty grass. It was beautiful to see. I am a winter person. I love the cold and snow of winter. I love the feeling of the crisp air and the silence that one experiences after a big snow has fallen. So, I am grateful today for the first glimpse. Hopefully more to come.
