Gratitude 12 - One-on-one

Several years ago when my wife shared the surprising news that we were having another child, one of my first comments was, "Well, we're going to need to move from man-to-man to zone." Nothing like a sports analogy to clear things up. The last few days has brought a bit of a rarity for me...one-on-one time with one of our kids. While we try to find those times one-on-one, its honestly not nearly as often as we'd like. So, while our other kids were at an overnight program with their grade and my wife was away for a few days, it was just me and our youngest. It was precious time that we were able to share the last few days - just the two of us. I am grateful for one-on-one time.
