This is a bit of a mix of smaller reflections of my last few days in New Jersey at a conference but including my visit to the 9/11 memorial, reflections of prayer, and learnings the last few days. (oh and some food)
Beautiful pictures as always. I enjoyed the mental picture of the CVG chapel worshipers with you doing yoga. I was still teaching in Covington when the towers were hit. I could not turn on the tv because our principal felt that it was too frightening for elementary students to watch. I had to agree. My friend who lives in Brooklyn was teaching also and the view from her classroom was chilling she told me.
Thank you for sharing your reminder of what we endured, how much we lost, and how resilient our nation was during those dark days.
