Wow, Monday was a day of lots of delights! (Remember what Ross Gay said…the more you look for delights, the more you will see them!!!)
A morning walk in the drizzly rain
These lights on a bridge - they could have just gone with clear, but how about some color?! Love it!
I saw this BMW the other day and my first reaction was “why would you do that to a BMW?” Today, my reaction was that the color was probably a delight to the owner, so that’s wonderful!
Scout on the other hand wasn’t thrilled by the walk in the drizzly rain. But she looks fabulous here!
I noticed my wife had opened up one of the soaps we received from dear friends at Christmas time. It made me think of them and give thanks for how awesome they are!
My son had a simple medical procedure today that required him to be put under for about 30 min and when he was waking up, he looked at me (not wearing his glasses) and said, “Dad, right now you look like you have three eyes and you remind me of one of the Toy Story aliens.” (He gave me permission to share this). Reminded me of when I was watching Wrestlemania on VHS as a kid after a dental surgery and I was watching it on fast forward without realizing it.
These roses just starting to bloom
Arriving at my new congregation to see that we are already attracting new visitors! (video below)
And weirdly, I am excited to moderate my first Session (church council in the PCUSA) meeting in 7+ years!

Yep, a “session” of Canada geese is a pretty good way to begin!
