Following on yesterday’s post, here are my delights from Sunday. Some with photos, some not.

Unfortunately I forgot to get my camera out for this but another delight was my first Sunday in my new ministry setting. We aren’t yet officially the new congregation, ResoundingJoy, but it was with Northwest Community Presbyterian Church (one of the three churches coming together to merge into the new). It was a beautiful morning meeting some wonderful new folks and sharing worship together.

Standing in solidarity with those working for justice and against oppression yesterday evening as we advocated for the fair treatment and release of Imam Ayman Soliman. I don’t delight in why we were there but I delight in the beautiful show of support and solidarity of people from diverse theological and religious backgrounds for a common cause.
What delighted you from the day? What was on your delight radar?
Grace, Peace, Love, Hope, Joy, and Delight,

I love your messages and photos of Scout. She is obviously much loved which reminds me of this Mary Oliver poem:
“Because of the dog's joyfulness, our own is increased. It is no small gift. It is not the least reason why we should honor as well as love the dog of our own life, and the dog down the street, and all the dogs not yet born. What would the world be like without music or rivers or the green and tender grass? What would this world be like without dogs?” ― Mary Oliver, Dog Songs: Poems
