Several choices (Paths, Sunrises, and Scout), plus last year's Advent devotional
Good afternoon friends - thank you once again for subscribing. When I started this substack site, I had no idea where it would go and I am grateful for each of you that have heard something unique, beautiful, or something else entirely in what I have shared. And a special welcome to those who have subscribed in recent weeks.
As I shared last week, I have put together some calendars for order if you are interested in having some “on-paper” glimpses of what I have been sharing. I have three different options (each in two sizes) as well a PDF of the Advent devotional I wrote last year (and have updated a bit for this year). Links below will take you to my Square site where you can order.
Since I have no idea how many of these people might be interested in, I’m going to be ordering them in bulk at the beginning of December and they’ll be shipped directly to you. So it will be a few weeks from when you order that they will arrive but they will arrive to you before mid-December. As a result of this, I will be closing orders on December 1.
The costs include shipping and tax so all is covered. The 8x11 calendars are $29.99 and the 12x12 are $39.99. Again, tax and shipping are included in these costs. Full previews of the calendars are available through the links below.

A Year of Sunrises (8x11 or 12x12)
As is obvious to anyone who has followed my site, I love sunrises. I am always up early and usually out around sunrise time regardless of the weather. What I love about sunrises is that they speak to me of new possibilities that emerge with every new day. No matter what is going on, the sun will rise and a new day will begin. I find such hope and comfort and strength in that reality. The twelve images in this calendar are some of my favorites from the last year.
Paths of Life (8x11 or 12x12) / Paths of Faith (8x11 or 12x12)
I deeply resonate with the idea of life as a path that we are following (insert music from Journey here) - this applies whether one is a person of faith or not. Photography of paths is a common theme in my photography and the twelve photos are some of my favorite “path” images. One version (Paths) does not have Bible verses along with and the other (Paths of Faith) does.
Daily Doggo Devotions (8x11 or 12x12)
When our first kids headed to college, I was given an assignment…they needed daily photos of Scout. So after a few weeks of this, I started adding some (somewhat) related Bible verses to each and then that led to an Instagram feed that we named Daily Doggo Devotions (@dailydoggodevotions). So these are twelve of our favorite pairings of Scout photos and Bible passages.

In addition to the calendars, I have also added the Advent devotional that I crafted for 2022 to my site. It doesn’t line up perfectly with the Advent calendar this year (there are 28 entries in this one but 2023 has fewer days because of December 3 as the first Sunday of Advent and the morning of December 24 as the final Sunday), so just be aware that if you use it, you’ll want to start on Monday, November 27. You’ll receive a link to a small PDF for screen reading and a larger PDF if you would like to print it.
