Yesterday after I was finishing up on a few things and repairs I decided to begin to get back into some beloved activities and things that feed my soul. Art and writing up there along with photographing things that I find interesting or catch my eye. I have a few pieces that were not completed, paused for a myriad of things or duties that can happen with one in/on the daily so I decided to work on an art piece that needed some finishing touches and tweaking. One of the colors was/is cyan along with other blues and colors. Interesting how as I was doing and in the zone so to speak the colors all seem to flow together. One notices each color of course while in the process but some definitely do seem to take center stage even if in the whole of the piece it does not appear to. It was cyan/blue and green all taking their part in the piece for me. I’m still working on the finished product as a whole. All of your color observations have inspired me to continue on with it and create a piece that I can enjoy and be happy with. Out of all the pieces that I’ve created for some reason this one has not been one I felt that about perhaps why I needed to give it a break, who knows. Now I’m getting my cyan on, changing a few things and we’ll see what happens. I’m inspired and sometimes that’s all one needs. 💖
Oh wow - thank you for this. It is such a gift to hear how what I shared spoke into this space for you. I would love to see what you are working on! And I love the way that the process of art moves in waves like those on the shore - times when it is flowing in strong and times when it is at low tide.
Thank you. Your memories, your pictures we a calm respite on a hot morning on my patio. As I sip coffee and look around, I am drawn to visions cyan around me. In the sky, on my tile table, in a glass sculpture hanging from the patio roof. ❤️🦋
Those are beautiful pictures. I am in Nashville right now and I think the sky was cyan yesterday. It was a beautiful day here and the sunset was gorgeous. Have a wonderful week.
