Beginning the transition
Greetings in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ! I am thankful that you have chosen to take a few moments to stop by my blog. As I enter into this period of transition, I feel like I am very much in an "already, but not yet" phase of my life and ministry. I am in the process of saying goodbye to a community of faith that has truly become my family here while preparing to become a part of a wonderful new community of faith.
In the coming weeks, I will be using this blog space to share quite a few different things - hopes and dreams of my upcoming ministry setting, reflections upon the last nine years of ministry here in Sioux Falls, thoughts about what I am reading in my devotions, and also some random thoughts about this transition experience for me and my family.
For members of First Presbyterian Church, I pray you will find this place to be one where you can share your thoughts and feelings about this time of transition. For members of the Presbyterian Church of Wyoming, I pray this space will be one where we can begin the process of building our relationship in our future common ministry. And for all who visit, I pray it is a place where we can experience the goodness of God and the joy of being in the Body of Christ.
