Advent Day 10 - Connection
Yesterday, Nancy shared a beautiful reflection about connection with one another. She wrote:
I think that while society has changed how we interact with one another, we as humans still need to feel connected to each other. This holiday season lets us take time to be more observant of those who may need some extra attention. While it is a great time to spend with family and friends, there are those among us that suffer from the loss of a loved one or other circumstances that make the holiday season difficult to handle. Make a phone call, send a note or card and let people know that you are thinking of them.
So very true. That’s one of the things that I love about Jesus - he was always there to connect with others. He was definitely aware of those who were suffering or struggling. He was there to listen, to speak, to love, to care, to forgive, to teach. May we emulate the way of Jesus.
